- My client is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to provide high‑quality technical support to financial advisers. The successful candidate will produce timely, compliant financial planning reports, conduct product and arrangement research, support adviser-client servicing, and help maintain accurate client records. The role is integral to adviser workflow and requires a professional, motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Draft clear, compliant Financial Planning Reports for advisers to present to clients.
- Carry out research on financial products and solutions to meet client objectives.
- Prepare client review packs and illustrations; assist with review/ongoing client requests.
- Submit plan applications to providers and manage administration.
- Maintain and update client files on firm software, ensuring documentation is accurate and presentation standards are met.
- Act as a point of contact for day‑to‑day client queries as required.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, product changes and firm/industry requirements.
- Proven Paraplanning/reporting experience within a financial advice environment (essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce accurate, well‑proofed business correspondence.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and work across multiple tasks.
- Analytical mindset with effective problem‑solving skills.
- Team player with a professional, client‑focused approach and the ability to adapt.
- Diploma in financial services or equivalent is desirable, but candidates with demonstrable Paraplanning experience and the right technical skills will be considered.
