Head of Finance - Facilities Management

• Location Newcastle 3 to 4 days per week on site

We are partnering with a Private Equity backed highly acquisitive group to appoint a Head of Finance for a £20 million revenue business based in Newcastle
.

This is a high impact leadership role offering real influence visibility and progression within a growth focused environment.

As Head of Finance you will take full ownership of the day to day finance function for a £20 million turnover operation within a dynamic and expanding group.

You will act as a true commercial partner to the operational leadership team while ensuring robust financial control reporting and performance visibility.

• An existing Head of Finance
• A Divisional Finance Director
• A strong Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance Manager ready to step up into a leadership role

We are particularly interested in candidates from Facilities Management environments including

• Hard FM or M&E highly desirable
• Soft FM also considered

Experience in contract led operationally complex margin sensitive environments will be highly advantageous.

• Full ownership of monthly management accounts and reporting
• Business partnering with operational leadership
• Budgeting forecasting and cashflow management
• Driving margin improvement and commercial insight
• Ensuring financial controls and governance standards
• Supporting integration of acquisitions where required
• Leading and developing the finance team

• Fully qualified accountant ACA ACCA or CIMA
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience in FM or contract driven businesses
• Ability to operate in a Private Equity backed fast paced environment
• Confident stakeholder manager with leadership capability
