AGAccounts Payable Assistant

Overview

Orka Financial is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their client's finance team, based in Wallingford. This role would suit a candidate who is keen to take full responsibility for the accounts payable function, with the opportunity to be exposed to wider finance tasks. An AAT/ACCA studier would suit this position.

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with payment runs and month-end procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
• Take ownership of the accounts payable function and contribute to wider finance processes

• Previous experience in accounts payable or finance support
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Team player with excellent communication skills

Salary up to £35,000 depending upon experience - hybrid working model.
