An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Newcastle-based accountancy firm with a strong client base and a growing audit department.

This role is ideal for an AAT-qualified / finalist or ACA / ACCA studier looking to continue developing within audit and progress towards their qualification.

• Assist on audit assignments across a wide range of business sectors
• Support senior team members on larger audit engagements
• Plan, execute, and document audit testing in line with firm methodologies
• Support year-end statutory accounts preparation and ad-hoc client work

• £28,000 – £34,000

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
• Audit or mixed audit/accounts background
• AAT qualified / finalist or ACA / ACCA studier
• Good understanding of FRS 102 and UK GAAP
• Strong organisation, IT skills, and attention to detail
• Right to work in the UK

Newcastle – commutable from Hexham, Wylam, Durham, and Sunderland
