Financial Controller
- Exciting Opportunity in the Construction / Property Sector £60,000 - £65,000 Liverpool City Centre Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? A well-established company in the Construction / Property industry is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations and drive business success.

The Role Reporting to the MD, as Financial Controller you will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will oversee the full finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making and financial stability. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial, investment led business, where you will be pivotal in their growth.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis. Oversee sales and purchase ledger operations, ensuring smooth financial processes. Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to maintain financial health. Lead month-end and year-end close processes. Provide financial insights to senior management to support growth and decision-making. Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulations.

Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. What We're Looking For ACA, ACCA, CIMA is desirable Solid experience in management accounts and cash flow forecasting. Proven leadership skills, including managing finance teams. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to senior stakeholders.
