FP&A Analyst

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

We are partnering with a growing SME who are looking for someone to join there business in a newly created role, due to continued growth for 2026! The ideal candidate will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with a 2-3 years PQE (will consider QBE for right person) and have gained strong commercial reporting and analysis experience, alongside business partnering skills.

Reporting to the Finance Director this is an exciting opportunity to join the management team of this growing SME who over are looking at domestic and overseas expansion opportunities. The main responsibilities will be:
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes for the group. Build and maintain robust financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) at group, site and brand level. Support development of 3–5 year strategic plans, including scenario analysis and sensitivities. Act as the finance partner to operational leadership across sales, aftersales and parts. Provide monthly performance reviews to site and divisional management, highlighting risks, opportunities and actionable insight.

Challenge and support operational teams on vehicle margins, F&I income, aftersales productivity, labour efficiency, parts margins, bonus and commission schemes. Work with non-finance stakeholders to improve cost control, overhead efficiency and working capital. Own and improve the monthly management reporting packs for the board and senior leadership. Analyse gross profit, departmental performance, stock turns, aged stock, manufacturer bonus and warranty performance.

Provide ad hoc analysis to support pricing decisions, campaigns, site performance reviews and new business opportunities. Develop and track KPIs and dashboards to support operational performance and accountability.
