About the jobWe’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support our business with accounting, treasury and operational support. This is a really important role in our small but mighty finance team in a fast-growing, venture‑backed business.
Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing management accounts (including invoice processing and payment)
- Analysing financial information to provide insights to improve business performance
- Ensuring compliance with requirements and key standards
- Developing accounting policies and processes to support the business as it scales
- Assisting with Client Money processes, including interest payments, treasury and reporting
- Providing financial support on launch of new products and assessment of new initiatives
- Providing support with corporation tax, VAT and payroll
- Designated chartered/certified accountant or management accountant, experience with client money is preferable.
- 2+ years experience working in either professional practice or an inhouse role
- Organised and process driven
- Comfortable with both day‑to‑day execution, bookkeeping, accounting & strategic thinking
- A team player who cares about collaboration - you’ll get the team behind your initiatives
- Collaborative, with exceptional communication skills

Hybrid, with an office in Newcastle & Central London (Newcastle based is preferable)
