As the Environmental Manager, you'll champion a culture of continual improvement and embed a holistic approach to sustainability throughout the organisation. You'll provide expert guidance, influence key decisions, and support the changes needed to meet ambitious project and business objectives while taking on additional responsibilities that support broader company goals.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Manage environmental objectives, targets, and KPIs across projects to drive strong business performance. Contribute to internal, customer, and industry groups to influence standards and provide thought leadership that supports ongoing environmental improvement.

  • Work closely with senior management and project teams to shape the organisation's approach to Environment and Sustainability. Continuously review project environmental resources to ensure capability meets business and customer needs, supporting recruitment, training, and development where required.
  • Act as an escalation point for environmental matters, liaising with regulators and providing specialist expertise. Ensure all project environmental records are maintained accurately and reported on time using relevant business systems.
  • Lead or support investigations into environmental incidents and participate in management reviews. Make sure all internal and external reporting is completed promptly and to the required standard, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across teams and projects.
  • Provide local leadership to environmental specialists and help strengthen environmental awareness and training across the wider business. Support the Head of Environment with budget reviews and, when required, deliver direct project support, fulfilling the responsibilities of an Environmental Advisor.

  • Proven experience working with regulatory bodies, including the full lifecycle management of environmental permits and licences.
  • Strong auditing capability, including ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor, with bonus experience in ISO 50001 or working with certification bodies.
  • Stakeholder organisations.
  • Skilled in incident investigation, continuous improvement, and applying governance across complex offshore and international project environments.
  • Motivated, adaptable, and capable of driving change, with the ability to work autonomously and utilise technology effectively.
