Overview
An established engineering business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects within a precision manufacturing environment supplying the aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear, and defence sectors.
This role will suit someone who enjoys managing complex projects, building strong relationships, and ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and support production teams to achieve delivery and quality targets.
- Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and customers.
- Identify risks, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor performance and continuously look for ways to improve output and profitability.
- Have proven experience in project management within a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Be a strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Be confident managing deadlines, budgets, and customer expectations.
- Have an engineering background or apprenticeship preferred; ILM Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and ability to meet security vetting requirements.
- Salary to £55,000
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
