Electrical Fitter

We are currently recruiting experienced Electrical Fitters for a long-term contract opportunity in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting the build of high-spec industrial control panels for major global energy projects.

This is an opportunity to work within a brand-new, state-of-the-art engineering facility for a World Top 50 employer - a globally recognised leader in power and energy engineering.

With a strong project pipeline and continued investment into the site, there is high potential for permanent employment for the right individuals.

• Building and assembling industrial control panels to detailed engineering specifications
• Working confidently from electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Installing and integrating electrical components into control systems
• Supporting testing and quality assurance processes
• Ensuring all work meets strict safety, quality and production standards

• Proven panel wiring experience (essential)
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship trained - essential)
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude

• £22.16 per hour
• 2-shift pattern (Monday-Friday)
• 37 hours per week
