Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £50K-£55K plus benefits

Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a network of national offices. Their Newcastle office has been particularly successful recently, with a number of project wins. As a result, they are looking to hire a senior structural engineer to help with project delivery.

Projects include: residential, retail, commercial, and many more.

About you:

  • Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Chartered or close to
  • At least 5 years' experience within a UK consultancy
  • Experience at senior engineer level where you have been the technical lead on projects
  • Fully conversant with the use of Eurocodes and structural analysis design software
  • Design experience in all traditional forms of building structures

    • The role includes:

  • Analysis and design using Tekla
  • Structural assessment and inspection of new and existing structures in all materials
  • Oversee technical output ensuring work is of the highest standard
  • Good communication skills are vital to produce technical reports including structural surveys

    • Their aim is to provide high quality and integrated services to ensure new and returning clients.
