Newcastle (Hybrid) | Projects across the UK

An exciting opportunity for a Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy delivering impactful projects across the energy, infrastructure, and healthcare sectors
. This role offers genuine flexibility, long-term progression, and the chance to work on technically varied and meaningful projects.

The Role

You’ll be part of a small, close-knit MEP team
, taking on a varied workload that includes mechanical design
, project management
, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders
. Projects typically focus on upgrading and improving existing assets
, with values up to £500k
.

This position offers a hybrid working model
, typically around 2 days in the office and 3–4 days remote
, supporting a strong work–life balance.

Salary & Benefits
  • Annual leave: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (option to buy or sell up to one working week)
Pension
  • 3% employee contribution
  • 5% employer contribution, rising to:
  • 7% after 5 years’ service
  • 10% after 10 years’ service
