The job you ll do
  • Producing schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, general arrangements, cable block diagrams, cable schedules etc.
  • Attend customer reviews to satisfy customer requirements for design.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials, Design Intent Document, cable sizing calcs
  • Provide Technical support for site.
  • Ensure compliance with customer technical specifications and Design Intent Documents.
  • Compliance with the department processes and procedures.
  • Abide by all Business Compliance requirements in line with Company policies
  • Actively support the continuous improvement of Engineering systems and processes.
  • Mentoring of Design Engineering staff.
  • Assist with in-house training initiatives.
About you
  • HNC or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel to site throughout the UK.
  • Willing to work to develop knowledge and understanding of other job functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills at all levels
