We are looking for graduates for our Sustainable Water Management team who have an adaptable approach and an appetite to learn. You should enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills across diverse clients and projects.

We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations:

• Rivers and Coast:
  London, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool or Leeds
• Catchment Science:
  London, Bristol, Shrewsbury, Newcastle or Glasgow
• Flood Risk Modelling:
  London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle or Glasgow
• Flood Risk & Water EIA:
  London, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool or Wrexham

Comprising 350 water science and engineering professionals, our Sustainable Water Management teams work across a wide spectrum of services covering flood risk, water resources, hydrology, flood modelling, sustainable urban drainage, water quality, water EIA, hydromorphology, hydro ecology and hydrogeology. Through our projects we provide high‑quality technical services and advice to a wide range of high‑profile clients in the UK and overseas, including government departments and agencies, the water industry and other industrial sectors such as power, transport, nuclear and mining.

• East West Rail watercourse design
• Rotherham flood alleviation scheme
• South Wales flood protection schemes

• Delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering river and flood‑related schemes.
• Preparing and supporting business cases for works to protect from flooding.
• Developing outline and detailed designs for engineering flood projects, including hydraulic systems, flood defences, drainage and ancillary structures.
• Preparing work schedules and specifications for contractors.
• Carrying out asset inspection works of above‑ground and below‑ground structures.
• Working with local authorities and national environmental organisations.

Our two‑year Graduate Development Programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programme includes core business Smarty and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience利润.

Many employees have started as graduates and successfully advanced within WSP. We encourage you to achieve chartered status with professional bodies – your development is a priority. You will be fully supported through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement, guiding you towards chartered status.

You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject for the role you are applying for.
