• Supporting ground investigation projects from planning through to completion
• Site‑based activities including borehole logging, trial pitting, soil sampling, and groundwater/gas monitoring
• Assisting in preparation of factual and interpretative reports
• Contributing to ground investigation and geotechnical design reports under supervision
• Working closely with senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills

• Hold a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
• Have an interest in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering
• Be based in or near Newcastle and willing to travel to site when required
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Have the right to work in the UK
