DBS- Supervisory Assistant - Backworth Park Primary School

We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a friendly staff team for securing the safety and welfare of pupils over lunchtime in the school hall, playground areas and school premises. The role is to start asap.

• Supervise pupils during lunch and other school hour activities.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment in the school hall and playground areas.
• Work closely with the school staff team to maintain order and wellbeing of all pupils.

• Experience in working with children.
• Excellent behaviour‑management skills.

Backworth Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and the protection of pupils. All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a DBS self‑declaration and consent to an online search being completed in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (2025) as explained on the application form.
