Schools across Newcastle upon Tyne are looking for Maths graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants
, supporting pupils who need extra help to build confidence and understanding in mathematics.
This role is ideal for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, tutoring or youth support

Maths is one of the most in-demand subjects in schools, and graduates with strong numerical skills are highly valued in helping pupils close learning gaps and develop confidence with core concepts.

£90 – £115 per day (PAYE) | Full-Time | Immediate Start
As a Maths Graduate Learning Support Assistant
, you will:
Support pupils during KS3 and KS4 maths lessons
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who need additional support
Help break down maths concepts in a clear, accessible way
Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom organisation
Support pupils with SEND such as dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD and dyslexia
Deliver or assist with numeracy intervention sessions
You will work closely with teachers and SEND staff to help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
