A well-regarded secondary school in Aylesbury is looking to appoint a dedicated Biology Teacher to join its successful Science department from September 2026. This role will involve teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Biology for a suitably experienced candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality science education and encouraging students to develop a genuine interest in Biology.

• Deliver engaging, well-structured Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for the right candidate).
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination board requirements.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL students.
• Support pupils in achieving strong GCSE outcomes through effective teaching and targeted intervention.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including enrichment opportunities such as science clubs and educational trips.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education.
• The ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
