Aspire People are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a school in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, especially those with higher SEN (Special Educational Needs) requirements. The position starts ASAP and runs until the end of the academic year.

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for Year 1 students.
• Support children with a range of SEN, ensuring their needs are met and their progress is closely monitored.
• Work with other staff members to implement effective strategies and interventions to support children with high SEN needs.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages the emotional and academic growth of all children.
• Regularly communicate with parents and carers about the progress of children with SEN.
• Track individual pupil progress and tailor teaching approaches to meet specific learning needs.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Year 1, with a focus on supporting students with higher SEN needs.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Passion for working with young learners and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
