Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in schools? Whether you're considering a career in education, mental health, or child development, we offer flexible opportunities to help you take the next step.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in:
- SEND provisions
- SEMH schools (Primary and Secondary)
- Mainstream schools across EYFS, Primary, and Secondary settings
- Day‑to‑day placements – Build experience and showcase your skills before committing to longer‑term roles
- Sickness cover – Provide essential classroom support during short‑ and long‑term staff absences
- Long‑term vacancies – Opportunities for extended placements and potential temp‑to‑perm positions
- Hands‑on experience working with children and young people
- Insight into educational and behavioural psychology in real‑world settings
- Experience aligned with core psychology modules, including developmental, social, cognitive psychology, and mental health
- Exposure to diverse learning needs and behavioural support strategies
- Flexible work opportunities that fit around further study
This experience is particularly valuable if you're planning a career in:
- Clinical, forensic, or educational psychology
- Mental health practitioner roles
- Further education teaching
- Occupational therapy
- Child and adolescent support services
- A degree in Psychology or a related field (2:2 or above)
- Flexibility and reliability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS)
