Role Overview

Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in schools? Whether you're considering a career in education, mental health, or child development, we offer flexible opportunities to help you take the next step.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in:

  • SEND provisions
  • SEMH schools (Primary and Secondary)
  • Mainstream schools across EYFS, Primary, and Secondary settings
Available Roles Include
  • Day‑to‑day placements – Build experience and showcase your skills before committing to longer‑term roles
  • Sickness cover – Provide essential classroom support during short‑ and long‑term staff absences
  • Long‑term vacancies – Opportunities for extended placements and potential temp‑to‑perm positions
What You’ll Gain / Career Development
  • Hands‑on experience working with children and young people
  • Insight into educational and behavioural psychology in real‑world settings
  • Experience aligned with core psychology modules, including developmental, social, cognitive psychology, and mental health

Requirements
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field (2:2 or above)
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
  • Accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS)
