Deputy Head Teacher; Temporary

Position: Deputy Head Teacher (Temporary)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Deputy Head for a specialist secondary school in the Newcastle area which we are working with as a company. This could be an Assistant Head who is looking to progress. You will have some experience in working with behaviour and attitudes. This school is mixed sex pupils and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

Strategic planning, and, crucially, overseeing specialized provision, EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) compliance, and safeguarding

The ideal candidate would:

* Supports the headteacher in managing daily operations

* Have a passion for supporting staff development

* Ensure high standards of pupil safety and well-being

* Be able to edvelop a tailored, inclusive curriculum, and tracking student data to improve academic and personal development.

* Ensure all students' EHCPs are met, monitoring progress against targets, and liaising with external agencies.

We are keen to hear from both experienced Deputy headteachers and Assistant Headteachers who are looking to progress

To apply for a Duty Head position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
