Clarence Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming, co-educational secondary school in Leicester. This long-term maternity cover presents an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons within a supportive and well-resourced department.

This role is ideal for a dedicated Computer Science specialist who is committed to inspiring students and developing their understanding of technology, programming, and digital literacy across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Teach core topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems
• Inspire students through creative and clear teaching approaches
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
• Differentiate lessons to support students of mixed abilities
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote student wellbeing at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management skills
• The ability to motivate, challenge, and support learners of all abilities
• A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and professional conduct

• Competitive daily rate of 185- 265 per day
