Science Teacher
Contract: Full-time – 5 days per week
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £120-£160 per day*

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision seeking a dedicated and resilient Science Teacher to join their team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive environment where small class sizes and a nurturing approach allow you to make a genuine impact on learners’ progress and engagement.
The RoleYou will plan and deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils who may require additional support to succeed. The role involves creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and achievement.
- Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons across relevant key stages
- Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Managing behaviour effectively using consistent and supportive approaches
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to ensure positive outcomes
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is available to work 5 days per week
- Has experience working with pupils with additional needs or SEMH (desirable)
- Is confident in behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies
- Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference
- Works well as part of a collaborative team
