GSL Education are seeking proactive and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in Newcastle

Job Summary: Primary Teaching Assistants play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the primary phase, assisting with educational activities, providing pastoral care, and helping to create a positive learning environment.

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing educational activities.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning.
• Assist with the organization of classroom resources and materials.
• Foster positive relationships with students to support their well‑being and progress.

• Previous experience working in a school setting or relevant qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and empathetic approach to working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
