Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our dynamic science department at a reputable secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a subject that is crucial to understanding the world around us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Physics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the science department.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
