Catch Up Academy is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver high-quality, personalised learning to children and young people with additional needs.
RoleYou will work 1:1 (or in very small groups) with learners who may have EHCPs, supporting them to re‑engage with education and make progress aligned to their individual outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored teaching programmes aligned to EHCP outcomes
- Adapt lessons to meet a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Provide brief session feedback and progress updates
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching approaches
- Reliable, professional, and student‑centred
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent tutoring experience
- Experience working outside of mainstream education
