Curriculum Manager
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Location:
Newcastle-upon-Tyne (Office-based with remote & hybrid options available)

The Role
As Curriculum Manager, you will take ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of adult learning programmes. You will ensure all curriculum content is high quality, industry-aligned, and designed in line with adult learning best practice.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role, working closely with internal teams, partners, and content specialists to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences across digital and blended platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, and implementing new courses, qualifications, and diplomas
* Reviewing, updating, and maintaining existing curriculum content
* Writing, editing, and quality-assuring learning materials and assessments
* Leading and contributing to instructional design and curriculum planning discussions
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, franchise partners, and external content providers
* Ensuring curriculum aligns with organisational quality standards and frameworks
* Supporting engaging digital and online learning experiences
Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for an experienced curriculum professional with a strong passion for adult education and content excellence.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or learning content creation
* A strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practice
* Excellent written communication, editing, and content-quality skills
* Experience working with digital learning platforms or online learning delivery
* Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Confidence working independently while engaging a wide range of stakeholders
* A proactive, detail-driven approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
