Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

£90 to £115 per day, PAYE

We’re supporting a friendly, community-driven secondary school in the North East that puts pride, respect, and achievement at the heart of everything they do. It’s a place where relationships matter, staff feel supported, and every young person is encouraged to become confident, resilient, and ready for life beyond school.

They’re looking for an LSA who brings warmth, patience, and a steady presence to the classroom.

• Supporting pupils across lessons, including 1:1 and small-group work
• Helping students build confidence and independence
• Working alongside the SEN and pastoral teams
• Encouraging positive behaviour and strong routines

• Experience working with young people
• A calm, caring approach
• A genuine belief in helping pupils feel valued and capable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
