GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils' learning and making a positive impact in the classroom.

• Support class teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
• Work 1:1 or with small groups to support pupils' learning and progress.
• Assist in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required.
• Help prepare learning resources and contribute to lesson activities.

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• All applicants must have, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
