Teaching Assistant

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £85 £ 110 per day

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Newcastle upon Tyne
. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils learning and making a positive impact in the classroom.

• Support class teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.

• Work 1:1 or with small groups to support pupils learning and progress.

• Assist in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where required.

• Help prepare learning resources and contribute to lesson activities.

• Competitive daily rates of pay (£85 £ 110).

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable).

• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.

• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
