Reporting to the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Experience is a critical leadership role accountable for a broad range of integrated student-centered services and functions that align with the University’s strategic priorities and underpin student success.

The PVC will lead the way in establishing and maintaining the strategic relationships between the University and its students and will drive excellence and collaboration across the University and with external stakeholders to position the University as a leader with a distinctive and outstanding experience for all students regardless of their location or mode of study.

With a sophisticated understanding of what constitutes an outstanding student experience, at all stages of the student lifecycle, the successful candidate will drive institution-wide delivery of a unified approach and oversee a breadth of engagement that extends across student success, student wellbeing, student living, and the user experience.

Candidates will demonstrate the necessary cultural and social awareness, as well as the leadership skills and business acumen to deliver efficient and effective services, complex initiatives, and projects. Outstanding communication skills are essential as is the ability to influence, think creatively and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
