Site Engineer​/Trainee Surfacing Supervisor

The Project

As a Site Engineer / Trainee Surfacing Supervisor you will be working on a variety of Surfacing Schemes across the North East.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
• SSSTS / SMSTS

For this role it is desirable that you hold the skills & experience below;

• Experienced as a Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer with exposure to surfacing schemes I.e. Highways, car parks, road repairs in the UK
• Someone with a keen interest to into the surfacing industry

The Role

• Reporting to: Project Manager

Duties

• Setting out and surveying of the site
• Training to oversee surfacing works
• Setting up and maintaining site control
• Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
• Ensuring compliance with works standards
• To Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
• Attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
• Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
• Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
• Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
• Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
