Caddick Construction is a family‑owned business renowned for quality, integrity and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Newcastle to work on a variety of Industrial, Logistics, Commercial and Residential projects.

• Work on a variety of projects in Newcastle, reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager.
• Provide a mix of office and site‑based commercial support to project teams on all projects for which you are responsible.
• Ensure projects are administered effectively and that business objectives, commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and other forms of contract.
• Knowledge of current Construction Law.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
• Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute across the business unit.
• Good management skills.
• Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance.
• Good operational planning and time‑management skills.
