Phoenix is a lovely, affectionate 6-year-old boy who lives with his parents and older brother in the west end of Newcastle. He loves listening to music, is fascinated with numbers and loves to be cuddled. Phoenix likes to be active and being outdoors especially going for long walks. He also likes to spend time in local parks and loves to go trampolining and swimming.

Phoenix has been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD which finds him being really frustrated with transitioning from one activity to another. When outdoors he normally has reins as he has no awareness of danger and will run off at any opportunity, therefore the PA would have to be constantly vigilant with him when out and about.

• Provide care and support for Phoenix, ensuring his safety during outdoor activities and transitions between activities.
• Transport Phoenix to appointments and activities, with mileage reimbursement.
• Maintain a calm, structured environment to assist Phoenix with his Autism and ADHD.

• Experience caring for or working with children with Autism or ADHD.
• Valid driving licence and reliable vehicle; driver is essential.
• Successful DBS check and references available upon offer.
• Legal permission to work in the U.K. at the time of starting employment.
• Enthusiastic interest in working with children and a genuine enthusiasm for this role.
