OverviewWe are recruiting a Procurement Specialist on a Fixed Term Contract (until September 2026) to join a small, high‑performing Procurement team supporting a large, diverse organisation and its subsidiary companies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a strategic, delivery‑focused procurement role within a supportive and well‑structured environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Procurement Specialist you will lead and deliver a range of above and below threshold procurement projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliant, value‑driven sourcing activity. The role is focused on tendering, contract management, and continuous improvement rather than transactional procurement. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple projects, producing high‑quality procurement documentation, and working collaboratively with stakeholders. Strong organisation, communication, and the ability to quickly understand new requirements are key.
What’s on Offer- A robust training and development programme
- CIPS training support
- A positive, collaborative team culture with strong senior support
- Exposure to strategic procurement activity rather than operational tasks
- Clear project pipeline and long‑term work plan
- Opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
This role would suit a motivated procurement professional looking to develop their skills, gain ownership of meaningful projects, and work in an organisation that is consistently striving to deliver more and improve its procurement service.
