Job Summary
Part‑time, 15‑hour post (7.5 hours per day) worked Tuesday & Friday, between the hours of 8‑6pm. Interviews will take place week commencing 2 March 2026.
Responsibilities- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Administration Team Lead.
- Process Subject Access Requests, ensuring records are checked and third‑party information is removed prior to release.
- Process and coordinate medical/insurance reports, identifying requested data from patient records and allocating to the appropriate clinician where sign‑off is required.
- Liaise with colleagues, patients and agencies for SARs and medical reports, recording accurate concise messages.
- Ensure safe and secure transfer of confidential medical records and reports.
- Stay up to date with developments in healthcare laws and regulations, including GDPR and NHS contractual obligations.
- Provide cover for team members during sickness and annual leave.
- Assist Team Leads and Managers to maintain compliance with CQC, Health & Safety and equality and diversity standards.
- Good standard of general education; GCSE grade C/Level 5 or above in English Language and Mathematics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year in a General Practice reception or administration role.
- Experienced in processing Subject Access Requests and medical/insurance reports (desired).
- Knowledge of NHS GP contractual obligations associated with Administration Team activities.
- Computer skills – proficient in MS Office and clinical systems (ideally System One).
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Ability to work autonomously and follow policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (desired).
- Business administration qualification or equivalent (desired).

Pay: £12.75 per hour.
Contract:
Permanent, part‑time (job share).
