Administration Assistant

We're looking for an Administration Assistant who thrives on keeping everything running smoothly while others are racing against the clock. This is a role where you'll be the backbone of our Newcastle operation – making sure the important stuff actually gets done.

What you'll actually be doing:

This isn't your typical filing-and-photocopying gig. You'll be handling everything from flight checkouts and bond reports to stock management and processing invoices. Think juggling multiple systems (SACS, Workday, Vision), keeping customs and finance happy, and making sure our team's shifts, leave, and airside passes are sorted without drama.

You'll also be the go-to person for those random-but-crucial tasks: printing airline labels, fielding calls, supporting meetings, and generally making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What we're after:

* Someone who's done this before and knows their way around admin systems

* Solid Excel, Word, and Outlook skills (you'll be living in them)

* Sharp attention to detail – we're talking bond reports and customs submissions here

* The ability to prioritise when five things need doing yesterday

* A proactive attitude and enough common sense to sort issues without constant hand-holding

What's in it for you:

This is a permanent, full-time role where you'll actually be trusted to own your workload and make decisions. You'll gain proper experience across finance, operations, and compliance – the kind of varied role that builds a solid skill set rather than having you stuck doing one repetitive task forever.

You'll work with a small team that genuinely relies on you (so no being just another cog), get training to develop your potential, and be part of the aviation industry without the chaos of being airside. Plus, when you're good at what you do here, people notice.

The essentials:

GCSEs (or equivalent), decent written and spoken English, and ideally some experience with budgets, forecasting, or stock control. You'll need to be discreet, professional, and the type who actually enjoys bringing order to chaos.

If you're after a role where you're genuinely valued and your work directly impacts how smoothly things run, this could be it. No fluff, no nonsense – just proper, meaningful admin work with a team that'll appreciate you.
