The team is recruiting an Administration Assistant in Newcastle to support fee earners and ensure smooth delivery of client services.

The Administration Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Real Estate team, assisting fee earners with file management, billing, diary management, and general office tasks. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills to ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- General file maintenance
- Opening new client files, closing files, and archiving
- Filing, photocopying, and key dating
- Preparing reports and billing
- Gathering and collating management information
- Document and correspondence management
Diary management for fee earners - Managing expenses system
- Processing office and client account payment requests
- Supporting wider team tasks as required
- Previous experience in a busy legal or office environment (desirable)
- Law degree or LPC (or currently studying) (desirable)
- Keen interest and willingness to learn about real estate practice areas
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Initiative and self‑motivation when working independently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Good housekeeping and “hands‑on” approach to work
- Knowledge of computers and office equipment
- Experience with spreadsheets, data collection, and producing MI reports
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on varied tasks
