Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity on behalf of a progressive and forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Perfect for an AAT Level 4 qualified and/or ACA/ ACCA part qualified individual looking for the next step up in their career with a great work life balance. Will be working with an interesting and varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and OMBs from an array of sectors providing accounts services.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS
102 Drafting corporate tax computations Preparation and review of VAT returns & bookkeeping Training clients on accountancy software Dealing with client queries Attending client meetings Assisting & mentoring junior staff You: MAAT and/ or ACA / ACCA Student/ PQ Practice experience is essential Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage or Xero (ideally) Strong written and verbal skills UK Resident Benefits include:
