An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join Lloyd Land Rover based in Newcastle
.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can confidently step straight into the role and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and effectively manage the demands of a busy operation from day one.

Salary: Competitive
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

• Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlines for our manufacturer.
• Joint responsibility in managing a small accounts team and Sales Administrators.
• Reconciliation of month end control accounts and vehicle funding line.
• Vehicle Stock Checks and reconciliation.
• Monthly payroll preparation.
• Supporting and supplying departmental managers with financial analysis as required.
• Other ad hoc duties as required such as debt chasing and compliance and risk analysis.
• Promoting and actively encouraging positive working relationships within the team and wider business, leading by example, and fostering inclusivity.

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant role.
• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or working towards is desirable.
• Experience of working within the motor industry in an accounting role is desirable.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Keyloop Autoline would be advantageous.
• Accuracy and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A great team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect.
• Confidentiality and discretion are a must.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
