Accounting & Reporting Specialist – Insurance (Aviva)

Contract: 6‑Month Fixed‑term, 50% hybrid working in London.

This position is ideal for a detail‑driven professional who enjoys working with numbers and wants to influence how we manage and report our finances. You will take ownership of key accounting processes, prepare financial statements, and deliver insights that shape business decisions. You will support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements.
• Support audit requirements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborate across the business to provide timely insights.

• Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s/UK GAAP/IFRS reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience accounting for a Lloyd’s Syndicate or group is preferred.
• Ability to manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

• Salary around £85,000 – dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications.
