University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role; however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

If you are shortlisted for an interview for this role, you must bring evidence of the following qualifications:

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English.

If you hold overseas GCSE equivalent qualifications, you will need to bring an ECCTIS comparability statement for your GCSE equivalent qualifications along with your original certificate.

• A Full Care Certificate OR NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (we can only accept NVQ’s from a regulated awarding body).

If you do not bring the above qualifications to your interview, then the interview will not proceed.

Medical Outpatients is a busy environment on a daily basis and supports with a wide range of clinics. There is opportunity to work with a wide range of the multi disciplinary team on a daily basis. There will also be lots of engagement with communicating with patients.

To support the multi disciplinary team with pre‑clinic checks which vary from clinic to clinic. The tests required could include: observations, height, weight, BMI, laboratory specimens and ECG’s.

To work alongside colleagues in a supportive manner and also help with some elements of caring responsibilities when supporting patients if needed.
