Shift details:
Two shifts are available: 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, or 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection and escalates any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with residents, families and team members.
• Adapt to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

The role requires dedication to caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable values. Experience is not required as a thorough induction and training programme will be provided, but confidence within the role is essential.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and respect towards residents and colleagues.
• Efficient worker able to carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Adaptive and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Experience is not required; the role offers a thorough induction and training programme.

• DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
