As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be actively involved in all aspects of month end, working closely with the Head of Finance to ensure sound financial control.

• Supporting the month-end close process, including preparation of reports and reconciliations
• Performing detailed analysis and maintenance of General Ledger accounts
• Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments
• Reconciling and analysing General Ledger balances
• Assisting with the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Carrying out other accounting tasks as required to support departmental goals

• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using spreadsheets for analysis and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role

• AAT Qualified or studying towards Level 4 qualification or your CIMA/ACCA studies
