Location: Keele

We’re looking for a motivated Electrical Control Design Engineer to join an expanding Controls & Automation team based near Keele!

This is a new role in a growing engineering business, offering hands-on work, career progression, and exposure to exciting industrial automation projects.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you’ll be doing :

* Design and produce electrical schematics using Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical

* Work on VSD’s, soft starters, PLC’s, HMI’s, and other intelligent control systems

* Create full documentation for manufacture and installation

* Support panel design, assembly, and wiring

* Attend site for commissioning and technical support

* Ensure designs comply with legislation, safety standards, and best practice

Hours:

Flexible day shifts (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)

Option to work either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

* Flexi time option* - can work 8am-6pm and claim time back in lieu for extra days off

Pay:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Yearly Bonuses (approx. £1300)!

Skills/Experience

Required:

* Electrical Engineering qualification (BTEC / ONC or equivalent)

* Hands-on panel design, assembly, and wiring experience

* Experience with at least one: VSD’s, PLC’s or HMI’s

* Knowledge of soft start technology and intelligent control products

* Experience using Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical

* Strong communication skills and team focus

* A valid UK driving licence
