Lecturer – Esports
Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is one of the very best colleges in the country. Salary: £,067 - £42,848 depending on experience and qualifications.
Location: Newcastle under Lyme Site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual with relevant experience to teach on our exciting new Esports course, in our purpose built Esports hub, equipped with state‑of‑the‑art gaming resources.
Main Duties And Responsibilities- To deliver high quality teaching on Esports across the full range of the department's provision, including remote teaching, learning and assessment via appropriate platforms when required.
- Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through activities such as open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
- Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
- Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Has an appropriate teaching qualification; support given if required.
- Ideally has relevant teaching experience at Esports Level 3 Extended Diploma within the FE sector.
- Is an effective communicator and has good organisational skills.
