Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is one of the very best colleges in the country. This includes recognition of our strong contribution towards meeting Local Skills Needs under the latest version of the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual with relevant experience to teach on our outstanding business courses and specifically lead on Vocational Business Level 3 programs, whilst playing a crucial role in realising the department’s strategic objectives.
You will be teaching across a range of units on various vocational business programs including T-Levels, however will have specific curriculum leader responsibilities for Vocational Business. Topics range from finance, branding, principles of management, visual merchandising, team building and many others.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver a flexible and innovative curriculum that is responsive to feedback from current learners and anticipates likely changes in demand from future learners.
- Deliver excellent teaching, learning and assessment processes. A proportion of which may be remote teaching, learning and assessment via appropriate platforms where required.
- Undertake the day-to-day co-ordination of staff within the course team so that the College can achieve its overall objective of being excellent in all areas.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS).
- A proven record of delivering teaching and learning to a consistently high standard.
- Able to communicate effectively with students and peers.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of current teaching practice within the curriculum area.
