We are seeking a skilled Zeiss CMM Programmer to support dimensional inspection and quality assurance activities within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and executing CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to inspect complex, tight-tolerance components and ensure conformance to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision components.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and support root cause analysis when nonconformances arise.
- 3+ years of experience programming Zeiss CMMs using Calypso.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and metrology principles.
- Experience working in a precision machining or advanced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with aerospace, medical device, or similar high-regulation industries preferred.
