Job Purpose As a Senior CMM Programmer at Vulcan Forms Inc., located in Newburyport, MA, you will work closely with manufacturing engineering generating CMM programs for the various operations as product goes through from rough to finish product. You will use tools like Calypso to support CMM programming for our Quality and Operations teams.

• Create, edit, and optimize CMM programs using different tools and engineering drawings to ensure accurate dimensional inspection
• Work closely with Engineering and Production control to determine priorities
• Develop and write procedures/work instructions supporting CMM program
• Verify Models developed in house and conduct prove-outs
• Train CMM operators in the operation and minor programming
• Procure CMM tooling and act as the point of contact for CMM suppliers
• Assist with day to day functions in the Q.C. Lab as it pertains CMMs
• Develop inspection plans as needed
• Assist CMM operators with any CMM issues

• 6+ years of experience as a CMM Programmer
• Strong experience with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso programming
• Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y 14.5
• Knowledge of machine tools and processes
• Knowledge of CAD based systems
• Able to work with 3D models

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,033 to $140,296.
