Overview
HGV Technician –
Location:
Newbury
• Salary: £43,290
• Shift: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
• Overtime:
Paid at an enhanced rate
My client is a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance organisation are actively seeking to employ an experienced HGV Technician working on HGV's and trailers.
Responsibilities- Conducting vehicle inspections
- Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
- Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
- Undertaking general HGV Technician duties
- Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
- Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level
3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair - Previous experience as an HGV Technician
- HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
